Biography

Xavier Oberson is a professor of Swiss and international fiscal law at the University of Geneva. He is also an associate lawyer at Oberson Abels. He has published numerous books and articles in the field of Swiss and international fiscal law. He participates closely in various associations, commissions of experts or foundations active in the field of tax law. Starting in 2016, he began to take an interest in the issue of the taxation of robots and their activities. In this context, various scientific studies have been published or are about to be published. It has also been actively involved in the preparation of the
Business Tax Reform III. He is also a member of the Founding Council of the Montreux Jazz Festival Foundation, as well as President of the Montreux Jazz Artists Foundation and of the Foundation Council of the Center d'Art Contemporain de Genève.
